The winds were reasonably strong with a East North Easterly so not too bad for where we were heading.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1040198.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1829 alignleft\" alt=\"P1040198\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1040198-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1040198-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1040198.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dad wanted to experience the night sail so was kitted out with everything and did his shifts, including dealing with a squall and mastering large freighters\u00a0coming towards us\u00a0fast in the dark.
