The river winds its way inland from the coast with the city built along it so there&#8217;s lots to see and do. Stu, my brother in law took us out on the Brisbane River to see the sights. Nice! Even spotted a fellow Maverick owner; S\/V Island Home anchored in the river. We spent quite a bit of time in the <b>Gold Coast <\/b>and loved walking along them for exercise, getting into a habit of going every day.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5421\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_2313-e1518066880295.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5421\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5421\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_2313-e1518066880295.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5421\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ruben &amp; Daniel came to Surfers to meet us for a little body surfing<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5377\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/image-5-e1516451717973.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5377\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5377\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seismicwave.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/image-5-e1516451717973.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5377\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We got our exercise walking the beaches here; Surfers Paradise in the distance<\/p><\/div>\n<p>My sister, Louise organized a house in <b>Kingscliff, New South Wales<\/b>\u00a0to celebrate the festivities. Great location on the Coast with a nice long beach but the pool at the house was appreciated as it was hot while we were there.
